Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: April 2025
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a specially tracked URL. When you click a link marked as a partner or booking link and complete a purchase (e.g., book a hotel, buy travel insurance), the merchant shares a small percentage of the sale with us as a referral commission.
Which links are affiliate links?
Affiliate links on BudgetTripAI include but are not limited to booking links for:
- Hotels and accommodation (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com)
- Flights (e.g., Skyscanner, Expedia)
- Tours, experiences, and activities
- Travel insurance
- Car hire and transfers
These links are identified by the rel="sponsored" attribute in the HTML, which we include in compliance with search engine guidelines.
Does this affect our recommendations?
No. Our itineraries are generated by AI based on your stated preferences, budget, and travel style. The presence or absence of an affiliate programme does not influence which destinations, hotels, or activities are recommended. We do not accept payment to feature specific providers, and we do not alter AI-generated content in exchange for commissions.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR § 255 guidelines on the use of endorsements and testimonials. We are committed to transparent disclosure on every page that contains affiliate links.
Your cost
Using our affiliate links does not increase the price you pay. In some cases, our partnership with a merchant may result in an exclusive discount that is only available via our link.
